An evening of music and Poetry at The Parkview.
In the second of our more unusual evening’s entertainment saw a brand new band “The Parkview Syncopation Set” or “What You See is What You Get!” gave us a lively couple of sets including original music and some of the less common standards. They were cheered on by a considerable following bringing a younger audience to the PVSC.
Humour was provided by compare Roger Hodskins who gave unusual renditions of Lennon/McCartney lyrics. And by Roger Cliffe-Thompson the poet in residence at the Liverpool Echo Arena who performed his own highly amusing set. A butty or two was washed down with an ale or three and twas a good night.
